Meet the Events and Communications Team

I graduated from University of Bridgeport with my bachelor’s degree of Science (2012) and master’s of Elementary Education (2014). My favorite part of my role is that I get to work with Student Ambassadors and execute events for our incoming students. When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family, binging Netflix with my dog, working out, and occasionally traveling to somewhere warm.

Hey there! My name is Lizanne Cruz but many may know me as Liz and I am the Campus Visitation and Experience Coordinator here in the Office of Admissions at UB! I graduated from University of Bridgeport in 2022 with my BA in Mass Communication. During my time as an undergraduate student I was a Senior Student Ambassador while being highly involved on campus as an Orientation Leader, Resident Assistant/Guest Relations Associate, Speaker of the House, part of Greek Life, and clubs. I love helping others and am passionate about serving my community as a Bridgeport native. I’m looking forward to seeing new faces and familiar ones alike on campus!
